How to Make Money Playing Video Games – Without Spending A NickelYou play video games? Are you good at them? Do you know all kinds of things about a particular video game? Things like quests, locations, maps, techniques, tricks and all kinds of other stuff? This information you have learned is very valuable and you can make money from this! This tutorial shows you how to make money from your video game playing without spending a nickel. Of course that doesn’t include the cost of the game (Which you already paid for).
Here is an overview of how to do it:
1. Keep a notebook of things you learn while you play your video game
2. Get a free blogger account – This is a blog much like a website –costs nothing
3. On your blog you write stuff about the game you play
4. Sign up for a free google adsense account and an amazon.com affiliate account (This is how you will earn money)
5. Keep writing stuff about your game playing
That’s the whole shooting match in a nutshell and it is really all you need to do to start making money from your video game playing. Now all of this involves work. And what I mean by work is that you have to take notes about stuff in the video game and you have to log into your blogger account and write about it. But you are writing about a video game that you love so how much “work” is it really?
Now Let me give you a more detailed accounting of what to do
STEP 1: KEEP A NOTEBOOK
This step is imperative. As you play your video game you learn things, find things and just improve yourself overall. But this kind of stuff is easily forgotten as you move through the game and you move on to new challenges. But you have to remember that you want to transmit what you learned to other people. And to do this well you have to take notes about what you did and how you did it. Draw sketches and keep track of as much as you can. All of this information is very valuable and will make you money. Remember that you are learning things that other game players want to know.
STEP 2: GET A FREE BLOGGER ACCOUNT
Blogger is totally free. It is a website design site that allows you to make your own website in the form of a blog totally free. Every day you can log in and write about your video game. And more importantly you can tie in your google adsense account with them so the ads that show up on the page will earn you money. Here is where you sign up: Blogger
It’s very easy to use and after about a half hour you will quickly be able to log in and write your game playing stuff. In effect what you will have is your own website devoted to your video game playing tips, tricks, hints and strategies.
STEP 3: WRITE STUFF ON YOUR BLOG
No need to delay. You know a lot about playing your video game so you should get started right away. Write interesting stuff about the game. Give your web visitor all you got and the best you can give them. Write opinions, strategies, tips, hints, tricks and anything at all that is related to the game. You can give them other links to valuable information and anything at all you think they would be interested in. Give it all away and make it as good as you can. What does the player of your game want to know?

STEP 4: SIGN UP FOR A FREE GOOGLE ADSENSE ACCOUNT AND A FREE AMAZON AFFILIATE PROGRAM
I have a strong recommendation here. Before you sign up for these accounts I recommend you work on your blog for a couple of weeks. Put up lots of good information about the game first. Post a new post every day if you can. Google and Amazon don’t want to have their stuff displayed on junk websites with no good information. But they love websites, even little websites, with good information. So write a lot of stuff first then when you have a good number of posts then apply for the google and amazon programs. They are free!
Here is where you sign up:
Google
Amazon
When you are approved for google you can then input your account number into your blogger account which makes the ads that show up on the pages of your blog your own. They will earn you money in your google account.
When you are approved for the amazon.com account you can put ads for books, games and all kinds of other great gaming stuff right into your blog. And this will earn you money too. Amazon will pay you a percentage of each sale and it climbs to around 8%.
STEP 5: KEEP WRITING
This is the most important part of the whole process. You have to keep writing new stuff to your blog. The web thrives on new and fresh information and you have to keep adding stuff to your blog. Keep writing in your notebook and keep writing to your blog. Try to do at least one post every day. Do more if you can.
DOES THIS STUFF REALLY WORK?
Absolutely! This will make you a nice stream of money and the more you do the more you will make. It is a function of two things: 1. How good is the information you write? Good information will bring in the visitors and these visitors will tell their friends. And 2. How much you keep after it. You have to keep doing it. Keep writing and adding stuff every day. It takes a month or two before the internet will notice your site but if you keep adding stuff you will bring in the traffic. People will come to your site and you will make money.

Most people spend money to play video games. A small segment of the population actually does things the other way around: They make money by playing video games. If you’ve ever wondered how you could turn your gaming hobby into a paying gig, you’ve come to the right place. Here are four ways you can make money playing video games.
1. Streaming
Phone Games You Can Make Money Playing
Thanks to the advent of video streaming sites like Twitch and YouTube Gaming, some lucky (and smart and talented) people are raking in cash by broadcasting their video game play sessions on the internet. It’s a good job if you can get it.
How to do it: Turning streaming into a lucrative business is a bit more complicated than it might sound at first blush. After all, building up a sizable audience willing to watch — and, ideally, pay for — your content is no trivial task.
First you need the gear. While PlayStation 4 and Xbox One let you stream games over Twitch using their built-in apps, most pro streamers use a game capture box and a PC to do the heavy lifting. And once you have your gear, you’ll also need to be charismatic and entertaining if you want people to keep coming back to watch you. Once you have that down, you’ll want to start streaming on a regular schedule so viewers know when they can tune in to catch you. Oh, and having a background in business won’t hurt, either, since once you have an audience you’ll probably want to work on partnerships and promotions.

2. eSports

If you’re exceptionally skilled at certain games that are big in the competitive multiplayer scene, you can make money by competing in tournaments. Games like Dota 2, CounterStrike: Global Offensive, and Street Fighter V are all popular eSports games with tournaments that offer millions of dollars in prize money to the best players. You can find a list of eSports games, with information about their tournaments and prizes, here.
How to do it: This is one of the tougher ways to get paid to play video games because it’s all based on how skilled you are at the games in question. To get started, you’ll have to get good a game and start competing in tournaments. You can win money all by yourself in solo games, but for team-based games you’ll have to join up with a team. Many eSports players also earn money from sponsorships by companies like Red Bull and Adidas.
3. QA testing
Every major game developer has a team of quality assurance testers on staff to play games at various stages of development and comment on them. The thing is, QA testers don’t play games like normal customers do. They’re looking for bugs, so they have to spend lots of time in each section trying to “break” the game. Then they file reports based on their experiences.
How to do it: Look at job board postings at major development companies like Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Nintendo, and any other company that makes games you like. The downsides of QA testing are that you’ll almost certainly have to live near the studio to be a QA tester, and it’s an entry level job that doesn’t pay much.
4. Writing

If you have a talent for the written word, you can get a job writing about video games. Of all the jobs on this list, writing about games involves the least amount of time spent actually playing games. You’re being paid to produce words rather than to put time into video games. People who write about games spend much more time doing research, interviews, reporting, email, and actual writing than they do playing games.
Still, playing games is an essential part of most video game writing gigs, so if you enjoy shaping words into sentences and paragraphs, it’s a great way to get paid for doing two things you love. Also, writing about games means you’ll get many games for free, usually before they’re released to the public.
How to do it: If you want to get started writing about video games, the best thing to do is to start writing, period. You’ll need writing skills before anyone will pay you money to write about video games (or anything else, for that matter). Start a blog or start contributing to blogs on big gaming sites. Once you’ve written a few articles that prove you can write and you know what you’re talking about, start pitching story ideas to editors at gaming sites, using your blog posts as clips. If they’re accepted, you’re on your way to a job writing about video games.
